IslaVerde is set in one of the most secluded and peaceful areas in Lake Atitlan; no roads and no public docks with busy boat traffic… just our own private dock from where to enjoy the lake and extensive lush gardens and forget about everyday life. Our grounds extend from the lake´s waterfront to the top of the mountain, and contain an impressive variety of local plants and trees. We have done our best to incorporate our little hotel into the wonderful work of art that Mother Nature has given us.
Its scenery will leave you spellbound; making you fall in love with its beauty.
Our accommodations
Isla Verde has nine independent wooden cabins and two brand new apartments for families or groups, all decorated in a simple but hip style we like to call “eco chic”; antique mayan fabrics share the space with some modern touches, contemporary naïf paintings and antiques.
