About Charlie Boardley
Charlie qualified in 2003 and since then has taught full time in London for 6 years, India for 3 years and now Guatemala, where she lives with her son. Charlie especially enjoys teaching on retreats and has run them in the UK, Egypt, Morocco and India.
Her spiritual home is with the Sivananda organisation but her teaching style includes aspects from others schools such as Iyengar and Jivamukti. Her classes are usually a Hatha flow sequence of postures, very much focused on the breath and alignment, incorporating relaxation techniques, Pranayama and meditation.
She likes her classes to be fun and inspiring, encouraging everyone, at whatever level, to be their own guide and never compete. “The practice should be inwardly focused at all times, mentally in the present moment, connected to the intuitive voice within the body, not the agitated voice within the mind.

We will meet again in the late afternoon for our second yoga session of the day – a varied program of creative workshops and restorative yoga. These workshops are designed to nourish and free our innate creative spirit. We will close our practice with a 30 minute guided meditation.
